I was a software professional from July of 2008 to September of 2010. “From the skies I watch you crawl Didn’t they teach you, Pride always comes before a fall.”
The more knowledgeable you grow, the more proud you become. I became too proud in the last few days of my work life. The reason why I lost my job is pride. I scolded one of my colleagues who pointed out a mistake I had committed.
My work life was fantastic. I was very happy about my work life because I had a good set of friends in the form of human beings and also in the form of books. I became too knowledgeable. I joined work on 28th July 2008.
In the first one and half months, we had training in programming. The languages like Java was taught to us and RDBMS like Oracle was also taught to us. I topped in four tests out of the six tests that were conducted during this period.
Life was interesting because I was friends with smart guys and beautiful girls. It was all perfect and hence it felt like it was all going to break loose and it did. Most software engineers feel the same way.
