Software engineering is the best of industries in India. It is white collar job for everyone. They enter into software industry and they think that they have achieved the most among the people in the country.
I was newly rich in the software industry. I didn’t know how to be rich. I didn’t know the way in which we should behave with ladies and gentlemen. I had achieved the highest I can I achieve. I didn’t want more.
So, what I did, I left the industry. Mathematics is one of my passions. I decided that I will follow my passion and wrote CAT examination. CAT examination tests you in English as well. So I prepared English too.
That is the mistake I made. I should have prepared for exams like JAM or JEST. Rather I prepared for CAT. I scored 93 percentile in CAT 2010. Life was fun. I had cleared and got calls from IIM Lucknow. Then I started loving my life.
I did the thing I most wanted. I did not attend GDPI. Yes! You heard it right. I did not attend GDPI. I told all my relatives I am not going to MBA. I told them that I wrote the exam only because I was interested in mathematics.
