Mangalore is not a popular place. It doesn’t have malls, big railway stations or big bus stops. But near Mangalore is a good college called National Institute Of Technology, Karnataka. That is the college in which I studied.
There are around 2000 students in the college. It is huge and is an engineering college. Student of four years study there and there are about 500 students in each year. There are fewer girls compared to guys and they face unprecendented amount of attention in the four years they spend there.
When Kannan called me at 12:00 in the night, we were giving GPL to someone who was celebrating her birthday. He said there are three things he wishes to tell. The first thing is that he thought I am beautiful.
The second thing is that he would liketo take care of me. The third thing is that if all these things mean that he is in love with me – he loves me. I was astonished by the proposal but I said “no”.
We both weren’t very close and hence I rejected the proposal. He was kind of ok with it. I understood how he actually felt after two days when he took pictures that they are going to put in degree certificates.
