There are a lot of people who are willing to stop us from working. Competition exists everywhere. Since I studied in a NIT(National Institute Of Technology), I know that competition is too much among the people of my college. How much ever hard we prepare somethings can happen and make us a failure. We are the only one trying to attain success. Usually it is the single person working for their victory. They will be backed up by their family members only and not by the other students of the college. Now that we talk about success and failure, I found it the hard way that we shouldn’t even say the word “failure”.

I am thirty four years old now. As I grew, I have come to an understanding that we can aim at success anytime in our life. We don’t attain success most of the time, but we try for it all the time. We try for success a lot of times. As King Ghajini did, we can succeed even in the eighteenth time. It is based on a spider the whole story runs. Ghajini was in the forest and he saw a spider building its web and failing a lot of times. Ghajini wanted to become a ruler but he kept on failing. When the spider tried so many times, Ghajini realized that even he must try as long as it gets to succeed.

In the ages of twenty six to thirty four, I felt I attained success in twenty six and half and no success after that. I believe that I will attain success now in thirty four. I like the number eight and eight is the difference between twenty six and thirty four. Eight is a good number. People say, if you do a craft for eight years you will be an international level professional in that craft. It is also called 10000 hour rule. If we learn a craft for about 4 hours everyday, in eight years we will reach 10000 hours. If we work for 8 years on a craft, we will international level professionals in it.

I would like to elaborate on the uninteresting feeling bordering on frustration that I had all through out twenty six to thirty four. I involved myself on a few projects that were average in success. There was a disease that I had in between – it is the worst of diseases – it is called jaundice. Because I had jaundice, for three years, I was not able to succeed in life. I was not able to go to work continuously for years. My friends worked extremely well and succeeded in their lives. I lost control of my life. Some projects which I worked on in these eight years were average in success.

In all these projects, we work with a lot of interest, but we don’t get a lot of money out of them. I did not get enough money from these projects. These projects were not aimed at money. They were mostly aimed at learning how to do the craft – whether it is programming or writing. Money is very important for a happy life. They say “Money makes many things.”. The projects which I worked on in between twenty six and thirty four are websites. I created websites called lovebyte and ikaadhal. The websites were about two things – maths and writing. The website ikaadhal was about tamil poetry.
