Consider writing for example. We should do it for the love of the craft than for success. I used to read all the time when I was a school student. I used to get into a particular mood when I was reading and I can’t stop reading for a while after that.
Now that I am writing, I have understood that I should get into a particular form of writing after which it must be difficult to stop writing. Writing should be practiced as much as I read and expecting to publish a book after that is good.
This is most probably going to be my first book that I got published – The Petals Of Flowers – by Kannan. I am good in mathematics so I concentrated in solving QA problems that we face in exams like CAT.
That made me score 94.03 percentile in QA in CAT 2013. I am writing all this with a reason. It is social service. The experiences of my life may act as a guide to someone who is going to make a mistake. I wasn’t people read this to write too and their experiences will serve as a guide to others.
I named this chapter quantitative aptitude because that is the subject in which I took interest first. I figured personal calling was problem solving only. In alchemist, Paulo Coelho pleads to listen to our heart. It is only later that we realize that listening to our heart is following our personal calling.
